Technology and General Principles

Enzymes work by breaking apart large complex compounds, known as ‘substrates’, i.e. rotting food, into smaller compounds more easily absorbed by the bacteria. Each Enzyme is designed to unlock and breakdown a specific food source and therefore, a specific bacteria is required to produce the required enzyme and this is true of BACTO-BIN. Applying BACTO-BIN on a regular basis will assist in keeping bins hygienic, odourless and insect free. BACTO-BIN targets those hard to remove odours that tend to linger and is especially formulated to attack offensive odours.

The product is an effective, enzymatic preparation for breaking down protein-based deposits in bins.
